it could be a penicillin allergy. Try an antihistamine. Good Luck

Possibly penicillin (Augmentin) allergy. You may require an antihistamine to counteract, and then a different antibiotic to help control the tooth infection until you can have root canal treatment accomplished. Antibiotics and pain killers will not cure an infected tooth. You MUST see your Dentist before infection gets out of hand.
