Good treatments for the wrong diagnosis will rarely help anyone. I would get evaluated with your past history in mind for some other type of illness.

Has one been checked for Malaria? The itching component, in the absence of Allergies may suggest other Infestations or Infections. Antibiotics do not take care of all infections. One may need some Lab. Work for proper Diagnosis and Treatment. Do not delay much. A Covid test is indicated also.
