The so-called normal body temp of 98.6 is really an average so some people normally run a little higher or a little lower than that. Also, temperatures vary over the course of the day. And, how it is taken matters as well (oral, scan, rectal, etc.). So, if you are feeling well, this body temperature is perfectly acceptable. If you are not feeling well, call your doctor. Good luck!!
