I have had a migraine for 6 days now. it has not left once, pain meds aren't helping, it prevents me from sleeping and especially from studying and i have a lot of exams coming up soon. i've never gotten a migraine before. what should i do?

Contact your doctor ASAP. Yes, the headache may be a migraine, but could be caused by other mechanisms, even a viral meningitis. If proven to be migraine, OTC agents such as butterbur, feverfew, riboflavin, CoQ-10, or magnesium might be employed. Your best analgesic OTC is naproxen sodium, if your stomach can tolerate. Do not proceed solitarily, but work with a doctor. Good luck.
