A member asked:

Hi i am 10 weeks pregnant and a vaginal fungus is causing bladder infection, what medicine can i take?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

you will have to get a sample of the fungus (or bacteria) through a vaginal swab or a urine sample to determine which fungus, or which bacteria, is causing the infection. In that way, you and your doctor will be able to choose the exact right treatment for you. Suggest calling the doctor's office, speaking to a nurse and see about the next steps, e.g.should you drop off a urine sample, etc.
