Hi doctor i had a minor car accident 6 days ago front collision with a concrete barrier, i was wearing a seatbelt. however about 4 days from the accident i started feeling neck, back, shoulder & chest pain, is this serious? what should i do?

Did you have bruising from the seatbelt? If so, your pains may be from that. Did you have x-rays to make sure there are no fractures? If you are still having pain, you should see a doctor to be certain there is nothing else going on, besides musculoskeletal pain from the accident. You may need further testing if the pain persists or worsens. Best of luck!

Not unique to have aches and pains a few days following an MVA. Typically imaging reveals no problems, but a full examination by your physician is by far the best approach. Therapeutic intervention via brief physical therapy often reverses the symptoms.
