My wife just had an ultrasound and the doctor said they found a 2cm growth in her bladder. she has a urology appointment scheduled but the earliest she can get in is 3 weeks. i am very worried, how bad is this? shes only 31?

Most likely it will be a benign tumor such as a polyp unless she had the ultrasound done for the diagnosis of visual blood in her urine (gross hematuria). Urological growth progresses slowly so if she has cystoscopy done within the next three month the timing should be fine. Good luck to your wife and I hope it is just a benign growth.
