There was an observational study published 2016 in which 75 years or older adults free of dementia were monitored for 8 years. Chronic Proton pump inhibitors users were at 44% increased risk for dementia compared with those not taking medication. Study provides only statistical association not cause and effect. Hope that you belong to other 56%. I tried to give you facts as we understand today.
