At the time I am writing this there is a COVID 19 pandemic, so yes get tested for COVID 19. There are not enough details to be sure, you may need to go to the emergency room, You can try telemedicine.

Testing would be prudent. HealthTap's free, public site is for education. We are not able to provide referrals on this portion of HealthTap. In South Africa a medical provider will determine need for COVID 19 testing. Consult your local primary care provider or you can use telemedicine for individual consultations. There are a number of free apps to look at your risk.

Covid-19: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Contact your doctor/local hospital, by phone for evaluation and testing in your area. Wear a mask, stay away from others, practice hand hygiene. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital, immediately. Get Covid vaccine. Wish you good health.

Have had a cold for three weeks. Symptoms keep cycling between congestion, cough, fatigue, runny nose, sore throat. In-home test results showed no Covid infection. Non-smoker, no lung illnesses. Is 12 days Prednisone treatment excessive?
