Can omeprazole affect blood pressure, especially long term?

As a practical matter, in all my many years' experience with omeprazole as well as other medications in that class(ppi's), I have never seen any definitive influence on blood pressure, that is raise or lower it in patients taking these meds short or long term. Some studies suggest they can raise BP. I'd be interested in other physicians' experience with them or further studies about them,however
