This question is for my mother i'll have 2 seperate questions . what's the best type and brand of humidifier should i get for her bedroom she has copd and respiratory failure? cool mist ? or have to be a certain humidifier?

terminology basics: Humidifiers are basically a fan that pushes air through a water wicking filter gradually adding moisture to the air. Vaporizers today create a mist of various droplet size using ultrasonic vibrations. They are not the same & the type or brand if any should be decided by the doc who treats her. Some do not use them at all since they can become reservoirs of mold.
