Is your baby *losing* weight or just low on the weight growth curve? Weight loss or little ones who are dropping growth percentiles (particularly 2 or more) is concerning and should be monitored closely. If it's not that severe, ideas to make sure baby is getting enough include - offering whole milk and/or breast milk as the only drink options & making sure baby has protein with all 3 meals.

More than likely she is not getting enough calories and not eating right.Limit juice intake to 4-6 Ozs/day for 1-6 Yrs old. This is based on the new AAP guideline. Keep your appointment with the dietitian. She will get a detailed feeding history, birth history , medical conditions that may cause feeding issues and come out with a plan specifically for your daughter to get her on the right track.
