Are the contrasts used during mris linked with bleeding or ssris? my radiologist said they'll avoid contrast because of hemophilia.

Not that I know.: I found no contraindications to gadolinium contrast agents (what is usually used in mri) and hemophilia. I don't know what the abbreviation ssri stands for.

Not that I know: I don't know of any relation. Not all mris require contrast, but giving contrast requires placing an iv. Your radiologist may have felt that placing an IV would cause you unnecessary bleeding if the contrast was going to be of little or no benefit.
