I have acid reflux which started last year. it has now progressed and i am struggling to swallow.my throat gurgles and food/water cannot go down most of the time. it just gets stuck and comes back up or slowly and painfully goes down.meds not working?

Based on the limited information, you need to see a gastroenterologist for an upper endoscope. I don't think you had simple reflux.
