It is preferred to go to pediatrician . But yes, you can get it from GP

Depends on the GP: Many will keep the material in stock to provide the service to their patients. Some may elect to avoid the storage & record keeping hassles and or choose to see only older kids/adults. I would contact the office to clarify the issue.
