A member asked:

Hi, what is the best exercise to treat a short-term glucose spike (below 240m/dl) in a t2d who excercises regularly? should it be short/intense/long, etc.??? thanks?

Regular moderate exercise is an important part of the treatment plan for type 2 diabetes. Changes in your blood sugar to a level that is higher than normal usually reflects dietary change, or need for medication adjustment. Eating power foods like fresh vegetables and proteins and continuing a moderate exercise program will help reduce those spikes of elevated glucose that you may observe.
