possibilities: A visit with your regular doc for a checkup would be a good place to start. They can verify that no underlying medical problem adds to your difficulties. They should also know a life coach/therapist in the area that can teach you skills to manage stress. If they feel a psychiatrist would have value they can add one to the team.

Please start w/your family doctor. He/she may refer you to a nutritionist or another doc who specializes in weight management. Congrats on having the motivation to do this. Ask about the ketogenic food plan. Please don't start it before consulting w/doc. Peace and good health.
