Good day. i will be giving birth in 3 weeks and i have opted to bottle feed instead of breastfeeding. i understand the health benefits of breastfeeding. please advise which formula would be best to start my baby on?

There is little difference between formulas. They have been regulated in the USA by the FDA since the early 80's and all have adequate nutrient blends.If formula is your choice, find one that baby seems to digest well and thrive, without GI symptoms ant stay with it.There is enough difference between formulas that a kid may have trouble switching back and forth.

There are three types of baby formula in the market-cow’s milk infant formula, soy infant formula and the specialized infant formula. If there are no issues with lactose intolerance, milk protein allergy etc, baby is usually fed the cow base protein. The baby formula is available in 3 forms- powder, concentrate and ready to feed (most expensive).Best to discuss with your MD if issues with formula.
