A member asked:

Been given 50mg sertraline for anxiety, haven't taken as side effects and reviews are scary. suggestion that thc free cbd oil would be a better option, would you agree and if so potential dosage for anxiety? able to buy legally in pharmacy in uk?

Amazing: Sertraline has been examined in 100’s of clinical trials, been reviewed by health authorities in N America, Europe, Japan, etc and its side effects are precisely described. CBD has been reviewed by ... NOBODY. Yet that is not “scary” and just fine to take because legally the manufacturer is not required to say anything. Amazing

Anxiety: Good point by Dr. Lentnek. Medications such as sertraline actually treat the cause of anxiety disorder as well as diminishing symptoms. Please see: https://www.healthline.com/health/cbd-for-anxiety#how-cbd-works. These studies done with CBD & anxiety were uncontrolled - which can lower their value.
