A member asked:

My urine culture came back saying i have mixed bacterial growth consistent with urogenital and or skin flora. what does that indicate?

Neg for infection: Hello. The interpretation of your urine culture just indicates that it did not grow any abnormal bacteria that would suggest any infection. There is always healthy bacteria present on the skin and on the urogenital surface, and your urine culture grew only those. If you are having urinary infection symptoms, I would suggest following up with your physician for examination and re-collection.
