Contamination: Sounds like this was most likely due to contamination of the urine sample (not a clean catch). The bacteria that grew were normal bacteria that live on the skin in and around the urethra rather than pathogenic bacteria that would cause a urinary tract infection. If you are having symptoms of a urinary tract infection (painful urination, increased urgency or frequency) follow up with your dr.
