Injuries: I don't know what kind of diaphragm injury you had, but rib cage injury, even rib fracture, usually heals by 3 months. Perhaps you should consult a thoracic surgeon to obtain an accurate diagnosis. &. appropriate treatment.

I was trying to loosen an oil filter on my car and a rib or muscle popped. Now it only hurts when I move my arm and if I take a deep breath using my chest instead of diaphragm. Will this be self-limiting?
I think I may have strain the diaphragm muscles at the gym (due to the symptoms am experiencing - did research), and am now having breathing difficulties, and the doctors think it's mild asthma, however, the asthma medications makes no different.
