A member asked:

Will your body become immune to salmonella ? hypothetically if you got salmonella once and then it finally cured, would you be able to consume it again safely technically since your body would be immune ?

Immunity : Our body can develop an immune memory to many microbes. Although having immune memory does not mean it is effective over time and does not stop an infection from starting. Immunity still needs to respond to an infection.
