Motor skills/hearing: Review your child's birth history and motor milestones. If there are multiple languages spoken in the household, many children may experience a speech delay. A screening hearing test should be performed. A speech consultation is recommended.

Worth an eval: A 2 yo should be using words & linking them together in a phrase. An evaluation by a speech & language specialist & the kids doc would be reasonable. Speech/language issues are best treated early before formal schooling starts. In the US school systems are required to look for & treat kids as early as 3. Early childhood programs deal with birth to 3 yo.
