Found out today i have. mild hydronephrosis in my right kidney. i've been having burning and pain in my ribs and stomach. back pain. nausea loss if appetite. have a appt w/ the urologist on the 25th but can see their np sooner should i see the np?

Yes...: You may have a kidney stone that is beginning to block the ureter of the right kidney. This can lead to a serious kidney infection. So, if seeing the NP gets you in the office faster, then do that! The NP will alert the doctor so that you get treated ASAP. If your symptoms worsen, go to an emergency room.
