Odd statement: I can see a testis withdrawing inside the abdomen but not traveling to the middle of the abdomen. I would have him sit in a tub of warm water for a while & see if the testis can descend back into position by itself. Relaxing the muscles around it may allow this. If it persists after several days of this effort have him evaluated.
