Dehydration: when you get dehydrated the acididity in your stomach can go up a lot which causes it to hurt. Key is to stay hydrated. Also avoid spicy food, tomato based products, chocolate, vinegar, citrus juices or fruits, alcohol priot to or playing. If you take a zantac (ranitidine) over counter, 75 or 150mg, about 30 minutes prior to playing it will help also.
