A member asked:

Doc, i am a hepa b positive.. is there a chance of curring it? is there a drug for it?

Tough to cure: Really depends on how long your doctor thinks you have had it - the longer, the more difficult. There are a few good oral meds that can suppress the virus but low chance of true cure. There is a shot (interferon) that can be used in certain circumstances of hep b but has a lot of side effects. Ask your gastroenterologist for the best choice.
