Side Effects: Yawning is a side effect of Citalopram. The weakness and numbness in your legs may be related or not. Talk to your prescribing Dr for a full exam and discussion of your symptoms in light of your history and other medical conditions.

Idiosyncratic: People vary in their response to medications due to heredity, biological variations, different internal metabolic makeups. Temporally, the use of Citalopram has resulted in some unusual reactions. Nonetheless, would question the wisdom of further usage, and consider switching to a different medication, especially if you are taking other pills, which function via cytochrome reactions.
