A member asked:

Every so often (not everyday) my knees buckle and legs collapsing when i wake and try to stand. the legs are numb and won't move, but no tingling or pain. it only lasts a few minutes. what is this, is it common? is it related to my spina bifida?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Leg weakness : There are a few reasons why this is occurring. I will say it results from two possible general categories neurological and muscular. You should see a doctor.
