I have hepatitis c they can tell by my blood why do i have to have a biopsy of my liver to receive medication?

Hep C : Biopsy of the liver is usually used to help diagnose specific liver disorders. For example a person with Hepatitis C, which predisposes a person to liver cancer, who has a tumor. That person with the liver tumor may benefit from the biopsy. Normally Hep C alone does not need a biopsy to diagnose or treat it. I suggest you speak to your doctor
