Do i have to get some blood tests before doing a liver biopsy?

Yes: Most doctors will want blood tests indicating your current blood counts (red and white blood cells, platelets) and making sure you are not at risk for bleeding excessively during the test. The may want liver function tests as well, or even kidney function tests.
