A member asked:

In december, i had covid. i monitored my vitals daily including bp, which averaged about 130/80. not major deviations from that number. this past week, i measured my bp and it was consistently 150+/90+. what could cause my bp to jump in two months?

Uncertain: I don't know if your recent increase in blood pressure readings is related to your COVID 19 infection in DEC 2020. However, there are a number of people who have developed significant pulmonary and/ or cardiac symptoms after their "recovery". Don't know if you have other symptoms or not. Consider a medical assessment to get more info about your post -COVID 19 status.

Blood pressure : Blood pressure changes easily from several stimulants such as eating, emotional stress, smoking, moving, pain, illness. COVID 19 can lower blood pressure. After recovery, we can reveal a baseline high blood pressure. See a doctor you may have hypertension
