My directors have asked me to take a covid-19 test. but i am not sure if i just have a common cold or if i really need the test. i am monitoring my temperature which has been stable at around 37.3 or so. i need some advice please?

Flu: It sounds like flu more than a cold. With this symptoms i doubt if they give you a test. Because you are young, you did not contact with someone tested positive, not mention living in an endemic area. No fever and no prominent cough. No shortness of breath but a lot of different kind of pain and fatigue. In the future you will be tested with this kind of symptoms when a lot of test kit available.
