I have had acid reflux issues for the past couple of years now. i was prescribed 40 mg of famotadine by my physician but i finished the prescription and still have acid reflex issues. i have constant burping after eating. what should be my next step?

Follow up with MD: You are right that there more modalities than medication but you should still follow with your medical personnel to see if you need to continue prescription medication. You should check what food is making it worse that you should reduce and may need to cut down on liquids with gas like Soda that may make you burp more. You may want to eat slowly to reduce gas swallowed when eating be less anxious
