Hormones & cold temp: Hormones are affected by heat not cold. Cyclogest pessaries may be easier to insert if put in the fridge prior to insertion. The Cold will not break down the hormone progesterone or any of the other components. Avoid keeping these in any warm area, though, as they may melt and cause some breakdown of the hormone because of heat.
