Sore veins: If there's no sign of vein inflammation such as vein swelling with overlying redness and tenderness, you are probably dealing with venous congestion due to faulty valves. Any family history of varicose veins? This is helped by wearing good quality compression knee high stockings. Elevating your legs while sitting also helps. Consult a vascular specialist as needed.
