Bad Veins: What you are describing are varicose veins with either areas of enlarged varicosities(look like grapes) or areas of superficial phlebitis(clotted veins), either way you should see a vein specialist for a full venous evaluation including a venous reflux ultrasound to make the diagnosis and help to determine the treatment plan.
