What can cause pain running from where the ear and jaw meet, down the side of my throat. if i put pressure on where you take a pulse, it is sore. and only on one side. what could it he? and should i see a dentist or doctor?

See Doctor: It might be mums (Inflammation of Parotid glands . See your physician to rule out it is not herpes Zoster which is viral infection and affects only one side of face .It is is very painful . Proper diagnosis is important for correct treatment.
