Throat infection: Sounds like you may have an infection that started in your throat and is now also affecting the ear (because they are connected back behind your face). The pulsing sensation is your body sending more blood to the area with infection-fighting cells to clear out the infection. If you are getting fevers, see white pus on your tonsils or feel worse, see a doctor.
