Some thoughts : A valve in a VP shunt is supposed to be compressible in the early life of its use. Compression is often used to verify that the distal end is open. Over time the body often stops its need/reliance on the shunt & flow slows/stops. Other tan an incidental observation I cannot gain much from the statement. You can discuss this with your doc to see if they feel it is important in your case.
