I have extremely bad vulva itch. my gp gave me canex v cream which made the itch worse. i changed to cotton underwear, takes showers instead of baths, changed soap and detergent i wash underwear with, i dont wear tight clothes, but nothing helps?

STD?: Vaginal itching and discharge is caused by one of two things: yeast (fungal) infection or STD. Since you have been treated for the Yeast infection and it did not resolve, you should return to your Dr and ask for STD testing. It is vital that STD's are treated quickly so that additional complications do not arise. STD's are typically treated with oral or injected antibiotics.
