Need more info: Do you have gout? Who prescribed this medication? It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Rheumatologist: You need treatment for likely gout exacerbation among other possibilities, Puricos or allopurinol is only maintenance and is not going to help with current attack. Let your GP or rheumatologist know about your symptoms, keep a log.
