I was recommended triphala which i took 1/2 a dose for the past week. it has given me strange symptoms to do with blood pressure and heart rate. otherwise brilliant. i think it is safer to stop it but wonder how long it would stay in my system?

Likely safe to stop: No scientific human trials on Triphala. Combination of 3 herbal remidies. Favorable reports when used as mouthwash, may be helpful for digestive health by helping with bowel peristalsis & constipation. Good idea to stop taking it in view of strange symptoms regarding blood pressure and pulse rate. Will likely be out of your system within a day or so.
