A member asked:

If my heart rate is normal then i don't have high blood pressure or it's two different things?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Heart rate and hi pr: These are two different things. Heart rate is a measurement of how many beats per minute your heart is pulsating. Blood pressure is the amount of pressure that the heart pumping causes to circulate the blood. The peak pressure per beat is called the systolic pressure, and the lowest pressure in the vessels per beat is called the diastolic pressure.
