Probable infection: If he is otherwise well and without other symptoms, continue to treat fever, provide fluids and monitor for changes. If the fever is present for more than 2 days, an office visit is recommended. Watch for signs of peeling skin, red eyes and rash.

Fever: Teething is not associated with fever of over about 37C. Your child's moderate fever probably due to an infection. Check in with your Pediatrician for suggestions to treat his symptoms, an d whether or not an office visit is advised.
