Monitor for symptoms: The first 24hours is crucial observation period after a concussion to make sure your child is not worse. It is important to watch for warning symptoms including:confusion, clumsiness, slurred speech,nausea/vomiting, headaches, blurred vision, sensitivity to light/noise, concentration problems. After that, let him sleep but you have to continue to evaluate him for symptoms-can’t play until normal
