On vit b complex. doc prescribed 600mg thiamine daily for 2 weeks. then reduce to half for 2 weeks. i stopped drinking 10 days ago but only contacted the doctor on the 26th. on 300mg quetiapine daily. is 600mg thiamine too much? i do trust my gp?

Agree: You are being appropriately managed and do not expect problems from your B-1, which is critical in those who have abused alcohol.

Hi doc! why i suffered pain on my lower back bone.? It happens when i drink a lot of coffee or beer/liquor. My 1st doctor gave me vitamin b1, B6 & b12.
Off drink 11 days. GP prescribed Thiamine and Vit B complex when I called 3 days ago. Auditory noise came back several days ago. Legs tingling was improving but still up and down but coped. Today has got stronger off and on. Right hand seems slight?
Doctor has upped my vitamin B complex to 3 times daily. Each capsule contains 85mg Thiamine and I am on 600mg Thiamine daily already. Is for alcohol withdrawal. No drink in 2 weeks now but have auditory noises and still humming and buzzing in legs?
