2 ways: Call your pharmacy to see if the prescription was sent in. If you open your HealthTap account you should have a my visits tab, open today's visit, you should be able to open the doctor's note that will include recommendations as well as possible prescriptions. Your best approach going forward is to establish with a local doc that can coordinate your treatment and preventive care properly.
