Do urine pregnancy tests stop working after a few weeks or will they show positive results throughout pregnancy?

Pregnancy test ?'s: Once a pregnancy test is positive, it will remain positive during the duration of the pregnancy. If the test is "negative or equivocal", after in initial "positive", see your OB physician, who may order an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy progress, and/or a quantitative HCG test.
